For over 20 years, Span Packaging Services has provided comprehensive contract packaging solutions for some of the world's most respected pharmaceutical and personal care companies, including Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithLine, BristolMyersSquibb and Proctor & Gamble to name a few. We specialize in contract packaging services for the following industries: pharmaceutical (Rx & OTC), personal care and consumer convenience.
Span creates environmentally sound and cost-effective packaging solutions to solve your packaging and distribution needs while increasing your bottom line. We are located in Greenville, South Carolina and our primary facility provides approximately 59,000 square feet of space. Production rooms are separated in order to prevent cross contamination. Both our manufacturing and warehouse areas are climate controlled.
Capabilities - Flexibility in meeting customer requirements has been paramount to our success, whether we are producing proprietary packettes, filling tubes, filling bottles, producing moist towelettes, compounding or developing new packaging methods.
- Packettes - Packettes can be filled with liquids, tablets, powder, swabsticks, towelettes and virtually anything else you need to distrbute. Our form-fill-seal packette sizes range from 2" x 1.75" to 9" x 6"
- Bottle Filling - Glass or plastic bottles from .5 oz. to 1 gallon can be filled with any type of liquid from aqueous solutions to viscous non-water based products. We fill creams, lotions, shampoos/conditioners, skin care products, bath products, coametics, lens cleaners and anti-bacterial products.
- Tube Filling - Our automated process incorporates plastic, laminate, and aluminum tubes for both cold and heated fills. Tube sizes range from .25 oz. to 8 oz. We fill creams, lotions, shampoo/conditioners, skin care products, bath products, gels and cosmetics.
- Compounding - Our capabilities range from aqueous solutions such as gels and anti-bacterial liquids to heavy lotions and creams. Batch sizes range from 1 gallon to 1,000 gallons. Our USP water system utilizes reverse osmosis make up systems and an ozonated distribution loop.
